About the Program
Dr. André Thomas, festival artistic directorEastern Wind Symphony, William Silvester, director
Dr. André Thomas conducts a choir of 400 singers from all across the United States in a performance
of Randall Thompson's Testament of Freedom and other works honoring our nation on this national
day of remembrance. The concert will also feature individual performances by select choirs and the
Eastern Wind Symphony.
Participating Choirs : BJ Chorale (Lawrenceville, GA), Dawson Memorial Sanctuary Choir
(Birmingham, AL), Decatur Civic Chorus (GA), Edenton Street UMC Chancel Choir (Raleigh, NC),
Harrison Singers (Lakeland, FL), Rockford High School Touring Choir (MI),
Tallahassee Community Chorus (FL), Traverse City Central High School Chorale (MI).
