American Ballet Theatre returns with Jerome Robbins’ first ballet—the youthful and utterly American Fancy Free… the Royal Danish Ballet performs the Pas de Six and Tarantella from Act III of Auguste Bournonville’s magnificent Italian romance Napoli… plus the Bolshoi Ballet dances a special homage of its own.
Miami City Ballet brings George Balanchine’s vigorously imaginative The Four Temperaments… the Kirov Ballet dances the spellbinding “Kingdom of the Shades” from Marius Petipa’s La Bayadère...and a number of international superstars perform a stunning selection of masterworks.
