About

In the history of ballet, there’s never been another event like it. The finest dancers from the greatest companies across the country and around the globe converge upon the Kennedy Center for two incredible weeks of spectacular dance!

Week One
American Ballet Theatre returns with Jerome Robbins’ first ballet—the youthful and utterly American Fancy Free… the Royal Danish Ballet performs the Pas de Six and Tarantella from Act III of Auguste Bournonville’s magnificent Italian romance Napoli… plus the Bolshoi Ballet dances a special homage of its own.

Week Two
Miami City Ballet brings George Balanchine’s vigorously imaginative The Four Temperaments… the Kirov Ballet dances the spellbinding “Kingdom of the Shades” from Marius Petipa’s La Bayadère...and a number of international superstars perform a stunning selection of masterworks.
