During the session discover the fun of creative movement and contribute to a culture of health through dance games geared towards children. This workshop is based on movement concepts instead of on mimicking steps, with Anne Green Gilbert's Brain-Compatible Dance Education as a foundation alongside Urban Bush Women's Core Values. Children ages five to ten are invited to share the joy of moving! Younger children, in the company of adult caregivers, are also welcome. Little movers don't need to wear leotards or dance shoes, but simply clothes they can navigate in. Bring your imagination! Please meet in the Hall of States.
Please Note: Due to the structure of this contemporary dance class, no late entry will be permitted once the class has started.
Please be advised that because this event involves physical activity, all participants will be required to sign a waiver form prior to participating (see waiver form below listed under "Resources"). Please review this form prior to purchasing tickets and bring a signed copy with you to the workshop. Waiver forms will also be available at the door.
