Two-time Tony® nominee Christine Andreas—a Broadway favorite for
her roles in Oklahoma! and the 20th anniversary production of My Fair Lady—comes to the KC Jazz Club for three glorious evenings as part of "Café Society," a celebration of 1940s cabaret culture. She'll present an evening of warm, elegant renderings of standards, show tunes, and contemporary gems. The concert will include exquisite arrangements of works by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Kurt Weill, Lerner & Loewe, and Jules Styne. Andreas will also perfom a few contemporary hits by Billy Joel, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Clint Black.
