About

"Joining two hearts and four hands at two grand pianos, the Naughton sisters created an electrifying and moving musical performance."
--Sing Tao Daily

Hailed for their "stellar musicianship, technical mastery, and awe-inspiring artistry" (San Francisco Examiner), twin pianists Christina and Michelle Naughton have toured the world with their intricate and beautiful 4-hands and 2-piano playing. Graduates of Juilliard and the Curtis Institute of Music, where they were each awarded the Festorazzi Prize, the Steinway Artists began their piano studies at the age of four. An appearance with the Philadelphia Orchestra led the Philadelphia Inquirer to characterize their playing as "paired to perfection."

The sisters make their Fortas debut with a program for two pianos that includes Brahms's hymn-like Variations on a Theme of Haydn, Debussy's brilliant anti-war statement En Blanc et Noir, Lutos?awski's virtuosic Variations on a Theme of Paganini, and a piano duet transcription of Stravinsky's still-shocking The Rite of Spring.
