About

MacArthur "Genius Grant" Fellowship winner Alisa Weilerstein is a world-renowned performer--and the first cellist to be signed with the prestigious Decca Classics label in over 30 years. For this intimate concert, she performs with two of the New York Philharmonic's brightest: her regular recital partner, Artist-in-Association Inon Barnatan, and Principal Clarinet Anthony McGill. The program features Short Stories, a new work created for them by rising star Joseph Hallman, an NPR "Top Composer under 40" and frequent collaborator with Weilerstein.

Performance Timing: Approximately 85 minutes, with no intermission. There will be brief pauses between the music selections.
