This path-breaking quintet explores chamber music for woodwinds in dynamic and entertaining new ways. Comprised of five of New York's eminent soloists, the ensemble delights audiences with an arsenal of "breathtaking virtuosity" (The Miami Herald), fresh and innovative programs, and engaging commentary. This program pairs music by Mozart with as work of Johann Christian Bach, whom he idolized, and with a piece by Christian's father, Johann Sebastian Bach, to portray a multidimensional Mozart and the influences that helped shape his amazing creative output.
