sing the elegant and spiritual poetry of Tagore in German translation. Also on the program is Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23, played by Christoph Eschenbach

For these concerts, the Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 1 has been replaced by Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23. At the time Maestro Eschenbach had set aside to bring the Beethoven Piano Concerto back into his repertoire, he was being treated for severe tendonitis.
