National Symphony Orchestra performances of Handel's masterpiece Messiah are a beloved Washington Christmas tradition. Guest conductor Matthew Halls conducts soprano Kiera Duffy, countertenor Jay Carter, tenor James Gilchrist, bass-baritone Tyler Duncan, and The University of Maryland Concert Choir, Edward Maclary, director. Hear the Orchestra bring to life the hope, fulfillment, and redemption of this epic music.

Volunteers from the Capital Area Food Bank will be available in the lobby of the Concert Hall one hour before each performance of Messiah to accept donations of canned goods.
