The NSO kicks off its 2014–2015 season with a thrilling program led by Music Director Christoph Eschenbach and Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke. French inspirations abound with selections from Bernstein's Candide, Ravel's La Valse, superstar violinist Joshua Bell playing Saint-Saëns's Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso and Ravel's Tzigane, and five-time Tony Award–nominated actress/soprano Kelli O'Hara singing "La Vie en rose" and more. The NSO Season Opening Ball is the Center's official welcome for incoming President Deborah F. Rutter
