Connections: Music Matters
Yvonne Caruthers, cello and host
What do earthquakes, sports cars, and memories have in common? Did you immediately say "music"? If you didn't, you'll want to come to this new multimedia program to find out what's going on in research labs around the world. Cellist Yvonne Caruthers is joined by three of her NSO colleagues (Natasha Bogachek, violin; Eric Shin, percussion; and Stephen Dumaine, tuba) to take you deep into the world of music and illustrate why music matters--and how it makes you smarter!
For age 9 and up.
Performance Timing: Approximately 60 minutes, with no intermission
David and Alice Rubenstein are the Presenting Underwriters of the NSO.
