Join us Saturday mornings for a FREE all-levels vinyasa yoga class in the Grand Foyer--part of the Kennedy Center's Sound Health program connecting the performing arts to mind-body wellness. An instructor from a different local yoga studio will lead each session.

Sound Health: Community Yoga

Join us almost every Saturday morning during our 17/18 season for a FREE all-levels vinyasa yoga class in the Grand Foyer! (Please note there will be NO class on the following Saturdays: Dec. 23, & 30; Feb. 17; May 12.)

Each session begins at 10:15 a.m. and lasts one hour. An instructor from a different local yoga studio will lead each session – Core Power, Spark, Sculpt, East Side Yoga, etc. See below for the complete schedule. Music for each session will be at the instructor's discretion.

Community Yoga is part of the Kennedy Center's health and wellness program Sound Health, created to make important and sometimes surprising connections between the performing arts and mind-body wellness.

HOW TO SIGN UP AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Tickets are not required, but to participate, you must complete a sign up form and liability waiver for each session you wish to attend. The signup/liability form for each session will be posted in this space by noon on the Monday prior to each class date.

FAQs:

The link above is only for the next session on the schedule. When can I sign up for any of the classes AFTER that?
We only post aliability waiver for one class at a time. The waiver for the next class will be available by noon on Monday after the current class is over.

Is there a waitlist once the class is full?
No, there will not be a waitlist. If there is room the morning of, participation will be first come first served. You will be asked to fill out a liability waiver on site before participating.

If I signed up online, am I guaranteed a spot in yoga class?
If you have signed up online, please make sure to have checked in by 10 a.m. or your spot will be released.

Can I sign up for more than one class?
No, we are only accepting liability waivers for the next class in the community yoga series.

What if I can't come any more? Can I cancel?
No need to cancel. If there is room the morning of, participation will be first come first served.

Is this really free?
Yes! Participation in community yoga is free and open to the public.

WHAT TO BRING

- Warm clothes/layers, as some days may be slightly cooler than others in the building
