In his first-ever collaboration with a full orchestra, the 11-time Grammy® winner and 2017 inductee into the Songwriters Hall of Fame joins the NSO to perform some of his greatest R&B and pop hits as a prolific singer, songwriter, and producer. Performers from Duke Ellington School of the Arts open.

In his first-ever collaboration with a full orchestra, the 11-time Grammy® winner and 2017 inductee into the Songwriters Hall of Fame joins the NSO to perform some of the greatest R&B and pop hits he's brought to life as a singer, songwriter, and producer. Be the first to experience symphonic arrangements of such signature songs as "Every Time I Close My Eyes," "Never Keeping Secrets," and "When Can I See You," along with favorites he's written or produced including Eric Clapton's "Change the World," Johnny Gill's "My My My," and Boyz II Men's "I'll Make Love to You."

For the first half hour of the concert:
Prior to Edmonds and the NSO appearing on stage, performers from Duke Ellington School of the Arts will present a special tribute medley of several songs made famous by Edmonds, along with spotlight solos by some of the school's extraordinary students.
