Possessing a "lustrous, agile coloratura soprano voice, and charisma galore" (The New York Times), Diana Damrau is an international sensation in opera houses and concert halls alike. The German star makes her WNO debut with a recital of intimate music in the Eisenhower Theater. She is accompanied by the French harpist Xavier de Maistre, who is also making his WNO debut. Following their concert in Washington, Ms. Damrau and Mr. de Maistre will embark on a ten-city European tour.
