The Musicality of Sondheim Stephen Sondheim remains arguably the freshest voice on Broadway and many other world stages. Part of the Kennedy Center's celebration of the works of Sondheim, this lecture will concentrate on an exploration of Sondheim composition and the magnitude of his contribution to musical theater. Taught by Irwin Shainman, professor emeritus of music at Williams College, MA and former professor of Stephen Sondheim.
