About

Choreographed in 1965 by George Balanchine, Don Quixote marked one of many high points in the legendary career of ballerina Suzanne Farrell. In the original production, Farrell played Dulcinea to Balanchine's Don Quixote; today, Farrell sets the ballet, a gift to her from Balanchine, on dancers from her own company, The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, and dancers from National Ballet of Canada. Join noted scholar Suzanne Carbonneau as she discusses the past, present, and future of this extraordinary collaboration.
