As the Kennedy Center continues with its Focus on Russia, join popular music lecturer Saul Lillenstein for an in-depth look at Prokofiev's War & Peace, one of the operas presented by the Mariinsky Opera and Orchestra.

Musician and music historian, Saul Lilienstein is a frequent lecturer at the Smithsonian Institution, the Wagner Society of Washington, DC and the Goethe Institut. He is also featured in the Commentaries on CD Series for Washington National Opera.

Note: The Mariinsky Opera and Orchestra do not perform in this event.
