Septime Webre's epic Carmina Burana returns to the Eisenhower Theater, to amaze audiences with its boundless energy and majesty. Accompanied by Carl Orff's invigorating score, The Washington
Ballet demonstrates its athleticism and prowess, in concert with the commanding vocals of the
Cathedral Choral Society. Webre has created a "theatrical tour de force" that cannot be missed
(The Washington Post). Completing the program is the company premiere of Christopher Wheeldon's Morphoses, a powerful and dramatic pas de quatre set to the haunting music of György Ligeti. Wheeldon is the resident choreographer of the New York City Ballet.
