One of the world's greatest choral works, Verdi's magnificent operatic Requiem was an immediate
and spectacular success at its first performance in 1874.  Its overwhelming forces–some tender,
some terrifying–are a monument to Verdi's mastery of the sung word.  On Palm Sunday, join The
Washington Chorus and Orchestra along with world-class soloists for a performance you won't forget.

Performance Timing: 90 minutes, without intermission.
