Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro
Libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte

The Figaro story continues in what is often considered Mozart's most perfect opera. After his marriage to Rosina, now the Countess Almaviva, the Count's palace is filled with a tangled web of love affairs.  The pageboy Cherubino courts the Countess while the Count pursues the maidservant Susanna who is betrothed to the wily Figaro.  With a nearly flawless blend of music, theatricality, and Mozart's glorious score, The Marriage of Figaro is a witty yet profound tale of love, betrayal, and forgiveness.
Performed in Italian with English supertitles.
Supertitles may not be visible from the rear of the orchestra; please contact WNO Audiences Services at (202) 295-2400 for further information.
