About

Enescu - Brahms: European Encounter
Remus Azoitei, violin
Eduard Stan, piano

The Romanian Cultural Institute is pleased to present two internationally acclaimed Romanian musicians on an international tour, in a concert that brings the work of the brilliant Romanian composer George Enescu to a worldwide audience.  In this program, Enescu's music is beautifully complemented by two sonatas of Brahms.  These two titans of chamber music met in late 19th century Vienna and Brahms became, in his final years, one of the young Enescu's greatest influences.
Performance Timing:  Part One - 41 min.; Intermission - 25 min,; Part Two - 46 min.
