Edgar Moreau, cello

At age 21, the French cellist Edgar Moreau can already look back on a number of exceptional achievements, including 2014 Winner of the YCA International Auditions and 2015 Instrumentalist Soloist of the Year by Victoires de la Musique Classique. His first concerto performance came at age 11 with the Orquestra Teatro Regio in Turin and since then he has appeared multiple times with international orchestras including the Simón Bolívar Orchestra in Caracas, L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Mariinsky Orchestra under Valery Gergiev, and L'Orchestre National de France. He appears in his Washington debut concert with pianist Jessica Osborne.
