The Choral Arts Society of Washington pairs works of Mozart, J.S. Bach, and a world premiere commission from composer Jake Runestad, to create a night of choral beauty, solemnity, and exhilaration all in one. Bach's cantata Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen opens the program, followed by the Runestad Commission and Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus. Mozart's Requiem brings the evening to a close with music of expressive depth and solemn richness.

Performance Timing: Approximately 2 hours, including a 20-minute intemission. A 25-minute post-performance discussion will take place after the concert.
