The Nancy Hanks Lecture is presented annually to stimulate dialogue on arts and public policy. This year's lecture is presented by Darren Walker, President of the Ford Foundation. This year's format will include introductions, a musical performance, the main lecture, and concluding remarks.

The annual lecture is named for Nancy Hanks, former president of Americans for the Arts and chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, who devoted 15 years of her professional life to bringing the arts to prominent national consciousness.

Lecture Timing: 90 minutes, with no intermission.
