Korean pianist Dasol Kim brings a recital program of music by Beethoven, Ravel, Schumann, and Kasputin to the Terrace Theater stage.

Dasol Kim, piano (Debut)

Phenomenal Korean pianist Dasol Kim has appeared with numerous orchestras including the New York Philharmonic in Tokyo, the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Belgium National Orchestra - under such notable conductors as Alan Gilbert, David Zinman, and Marin Alsop. Winner of the 2015 YCA International Auditions, Mr. Kim's recital debut this season is sponsored by the Korean Concert Society Prize. He holds the Mortimer Levitt Piano Chair of YCA.

The concert program includes Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata; Ravel's Gaspard de la nuit; Schumann's Humoreske in B-flat major; and selections from Kasputin's Eight Concert Etudes.
