2010 International VSA Festival: All Aboard! Songs and Stories from America's Railroads

Date:    Wednesday, June 9, at 10:15 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.

Through songs and stories of the American frontier, Iowan Frank Strong Jr. (aka "Freight Train" Frank) delights young audiences with the melodies and memories of our collective past. Donning a conductor's hat and pin-striped vest, Strong performs on guitar and harmonica and celebrates the colorful history of building and riding the rails throughout the United States.
