The first Polish pianist in 30 years to win the International Chopin Competition, Rafal Blechacz's sensational performance caused the judges to remark, "he so outclassed the remaining finalists that no second place prize could actually be awarded." A regular guest artist at prestigious concert halls and festivals across Europe, Mr. Blechacz returns to Washington for his second Kennedy Center recital appearance with WPAS.
