Puerto Rico’s Teatro del Sesenta presents this satirical theatrical work of six monologues performed by Idalia Pérez Garay and José Félix Gómez. Written by acclaimed Puerto Rican writer Luis Rafael Sánchez, Quíntuples reveals the lives of the Morrison Quintuplets—lovesick Dafne, imaginative Baby, conflicted Bianca, narcissistic Mandrake, and pregnant Carlota—along with their father as they address the audience at a “Conference on Family Matters.” The characters both celebrate and skewer Puerto Rican and Latino archetypes as they speak of their lives and loves. In Spanish with simultaneous English audio translation.
