About

Having celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2012, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra (RSPO) continues to perform to international acclaim under Sakari Oramo, its current chief conductor and artistic advisor. Housed in the Stockholm Concert Hall since 1926, the RSPO has a long and eventful history and is also the official orchestra for the Nobel Prize Awards. The RSPO performs a program of Nordic works with Danish soprano Inger Dam-Jensen, "a soprano who has everything--great looks, a sparkling voice that never loses its quality, glittering allure, and intensity" (The Financial Times).
