The Kennedy Center presents a hilarious conversation with 2009 Kennedy Center Honoree Mel Brooks, where the beloved comedian will be on stage to share behind-the-scenes stories from his legendary career and life, after a screening of his groundbreaking movie Blazing Saddles. This outrageous masterpiece, considered one of the top comedy films of all time, will be presented on a big screen followed by a live conversation and audience-led Q&A with Brooks.

Recommended for mature audiences.

ENJOY POPCORN, DRINKS & SNACKS IN THE CONCERT HALL WITH YOUR MOVIE!

Beginning at 6 p.m., bars in front of the Concert Hall will be selling popcorn for $3 per bag. Patrons may bring this bagged popcorn into the screening along with any candy sold at the bars, drinks purchased in a $3 lidded souvenir cup, and bottled water. Please note: Beverages not purchased in a souvenir cup will not be allowed into the theater. Enjoy Mel and the movie! 

Film Running Time - 93 minutes, followed immediately by a Conversation / Q&A lasting approximately 60-90 minutes.
