Imagining the City will offer a lively panel discussion about cities in India--their histories and their futures. Suketu Mehta is the author of the classic study of Bombay, Maximum City: Bombay Lost and Found. Maya K. Rao stands at the forefront of contemporary Indian theater. Sunetra Gupta is the highly regarded author of Memories of Rain, A Sin of Colour, and her most recent novel, So Good in Black, a paean to her native city, Kolkata.
