The Kennedy Center partners with Words Beats & Life to create a new mural at Thai Orchid in the first week of the festival. Beginning March 24, concrete alchemist Maxx Moses works with nine Words Beats & Life apprentice students for a week to produce this mural. This exhibition will emphasize how central public art is to the visual aesthetic of hip-hop culture and the role of the writers in showing the stories and communities on hip-hop. Part of One Mic: Hip-Hop Culture Worldwide.
