Family Day--Redhead Day

May 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Festivals gathering people with natural red hair have been held internationally in places like Cork in Ireland, Breda in the Netherlands, London, and Chicago. The Kennedy Center invites you to join us in IRELAND 100's own Redhead Day celebration, which includes music acts, dance performances, demonstrations, and activities for the whole family. The culmination of the day will be a redhead kids' parade around the Kennedy Center and a photo of the gathering here at the Kennedy Center. Redheads and redheads-at-heart are all encouraged to join the celebration. Free interactive, family-friendly activities will take place throughout the day including fun photo backdrops, coloring, mask making, face painting, instrument demonstrations, and performances.

Due to the rainy forecast, all Redhead Day activities will be held indoors.
