IRELAND 100: Celebrating a Century of Irish Arts & Culture
Outdoor Green Space: Irish Inn Mates
May 17 at 6:15 p.m.
Free, no tickets required.

The Irish Inn Mates play Irish traditional music--jigs, reels, polkas, and songs from Ireland. Comprised of Mitch Fanning (fiddle), Jesse Winch (bodhran, guitar, bouzouki, harmonica), Tina Eck (flute, whistle, vocals), and Zan McLeod (guitar), the Inn Mates have been playing at the Irish Inn at Glen Echo almost since the opening of the restaurant and bar by Christy Hughes (Co. Longford) in 2004. Every Monday evening, the Inn Mates can be found playing in the pub, often joined by friends, singers, musicians and dancers. The Inn Mates have also performed at private events, festivals and notable venues like the Kennedy Center, the European Union Headquarters in Washington, DC, and the Irish Embassy.

Performance Timing: 75 minutes
