DiDonato sings the title role in a concert version of Handel's passionate Italian opera, which she has performed and recorded to great acclaim. Says London's Daily Telegraph: DiDonato "confirms her reputation as the finest Handelian mezzo-soprano of the day with a magnificent princely reading." Joining her with the English Concert conducted by Artistic Director Harry Bicket is soprano Christiane Karg as Ginevra, tenor David Portillo as Lurcanio, soprano Joelle Harvey as Dalinda, baritone Matthew Brook as Re di Scozia, and others.
