Employee of the Month is coming to D.C. for one spectacular night.

Join Catie Lazarus as she honors and interviews Employees of the Month:
  • Chris Jackson (Hamilton, Bull, In the Heights)
  • Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer, Party Time)
  • Ezra Klein (Vox, American Prospect, The Washington Post)
Plus, Employee of the Month's House band will perform featuring FreeStyle Love Supreme's Chris "C Jack" Jackson, Andrew "Jelly D" Bancroft, Arthur "the Geniuses" Lewis, and Chris "Shockwave" Sullivan with Antibalas's Eric Biondo. As always, there will be more music, magical conversations, and mischief.

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH with Catie Lazarus is a late night talk show recorded live for podcast. The brain child of writer, host, and downtown comedy darling Catie Lazarus, from the get go, the show developed a cult following and critical acclaim. Why? Lazarus's insatiable curiosity, dry wit, and intellect and palpable warmth infuse her candid conversations, as she asks her remarkable guests what it takes to (mainly) love what they do. The result is a vital lens into the beauty, banalities, and absurdities of jobs, work, and labor. With an impeccable eye for talent, Lazarus also features scintillating live performances and her Employee of the Month house band features Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hip Hop group Freestyle Love Supreme as well as musicians from Antibalas, The Dap-Kings, Common Rotation, and Broadway shows like Hamilton, The Lion King, Dear Evan Hansen, and Waitress. It is easy to see why New York Magazine says, "If you like WTF with Marc Maron, you'll like Employee of the Month." Employee of the Month delivers a fun, fascinating ride, whether you simply want a night out, great new podcast, or are wondering if you should quit your day job and/or stick to self-medicating.
