The Moving Company
Community Access to the Arts' (CATA) artistic director, Dawn Lane, founded the Moving Company to create choreography that transcends disability and blends poignancy, humor, and democracy for dancers of all abilities. Her work has been funded by Massachusetts Cultural Council, LEF Foundation, and Mid-Atlantic Arts Council. She has received awards from the Massachusetts Alliance for Arts Education and Massachusetts College of Art & Design. CATA nurtures and celebrates the creativity of people with physical and developmental disabilities through shared experiences in the visual and performing arts in western Massachusetts.
