The Martha Graham Dance Company, founded by Graham in 1926, is the oldest and most celebrated modern dance company in the world. The Martha Graham Center, School and Dance Company provide instruction in the Martha Graham technique for students from all over the world; preserve, document and perform Martha Graham's ballets nationally and internationally; develop new works which adhere to, and draw inspiration from, her unique style and artistic vision; and, introduce young audiences to Martha Graham's work, to inspire new generations of dancers and dance lovers.
