About the Program

Part of the Imagination Celebration 2001-2002 Season

As part of the Sondheim festival, this production will feature a local cast of young performers who have participated in a year long residency program in DC Partnership schools. A part of "The Broadway Junior Collection".

Book by James Lapine, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and originally directed on Broadway by James Lapine. This magical, imaginative adventure is told through Jakob and Wilhelm Grimm's fairy tales, including characters Cinderella, her Prince, Little Red Riding Hood, the Wolf, Jack, Rapunzel and many others.

**Recommended for children age 5 and up and their families.
