About the Program
Originally from Norway, Lage Lund's passion for music led him to become the first electric guitarist in the history of Juilliard's jazz program. The Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead alum has performed alongside Carmen Lundy, Roy Haynes, and Wynton Marsalis--and he recently won the prestigious 2005 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Guitar Competition hosted at the Kennedy Center. Performing original music and standards with his band, Lund has officially established himself with his "casually magnetic" style (The New York Times).All events and artists subject to change without prior notice.
