About the Program
Vocalist Dianne Reeves's "three-plus octaves, diva-like delivery, and intimate sense of song have long made her one of the most compelling vocalists in jazz," proclaims the Seattle Times. In 2005, she was featured in the acclaimed film Good Night, and Good Luck, as well as on its soundtrack. Her most recent CD, Music for Lovers, is a collection of great romantic performances by Dianne Reeves, including "My Funny Valentine," "You Taught My Heart to Sing," "In Your Eyes," and more. The four-time Grammy winner is currently working on her first album of original compositions in six years, due in 2008.Media partner: WAMU 88.5 FM
