Pink Martini performs with the NSO Pops!

Somewhere between a 1930s Cuban dance orchestra, a classical chamber music ensemble, a Brazilian marching band, and Japanese film noir is Pink Martini. Comprised of vocals, percussion, strings, and brass, this unique 12-member band describes themselves as "musical archeologists," combining intoxicating melodies and rhythms from around the globe. Variety calls them "impressive...charming and elegant."
