Lorin Maazel returns to conduct Barber's Violin Concerto featuring soloist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg. Maazel also conducts Franck's Symphony and his own The Giving Tree narrated by his wife, the actress Dietlinde Turban-Maazel, in her NSO debut.
