About the Program

Cool Globes is public art with a purpose--aimed at increasing awareness about global warming and inspiring people to implement simple solutions to help combat it.

From June 11 to September 3, 60 miniature Cool Globes are on display in the Hall of States and the Hall of Nations. They have been designed by a diverse group of people--including actors, musicians, artists, elected officials, athletes, and others--who are speaking out to promote solutions to the global warming crisis.

Thirty of the Globes are titled "Solutions" and they highlight simple ideas people can adopt in their daily lives to join the fight against global warming. The remaining 30 globes are titled "Voices."  They highlight prominent individuals who have lent their voices to this project and who are committed to fighting climate change.
