About the Program

Jeanine De Bique, soprano
  with Warren Jones, piano

Soprano Jeanine De Bique won first prize in the 2008–09 YCA International Auditions, where she was also awarded the Paul A. Fish Memorial First Prize. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Ms. De Bique studied at the Manhattan School of Music and recently made her New York Philharmonic debut in Mahler's Symphony of a Thousand, under Lorin Maazel.  In spring 2010, Ms. De Bique will be an artist-in-residence with The Dallas Opera.  Performance Timing: Part One - 40 min.; Intermission - 20 min.; Part Two - 30 min. Program:

DEBUSSY - Quatre Chansons de Jeunesse
WOLF - Five Lieder
STRAUSS - Four Lieder
TRADITIONAL - Four British Folk Songs
