About the Program

Through such blockbuster musicals as Cats, Pippin, and 1776--and turns as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard and Mama Rose in Gypsy--Tony winner Betty Buckley is a performer whose name has become synonymous with Broadway. She launches the new Spotlight season by celebrating her 18-year collaboration with acclaimed pianist Kenny Werner. They'll perform songs from their new CD Quintessence and her recently released Betty Buckley, 1967, as well as music from the Great White Way and Great American Songbook.

Performance Timing: Part I - 50 minutes; Intermission - 15 minutes; Part II - 45 minutes
