As part of the Women's Committee of the National Symphony Orchestra's NSO Celebrations event, Beyond Dragons, a feng shui workshop will be presented by author, interior designer, and feng shui consultant, Hope Karan Gerecht. 

This event takes place at the Woman's Club of Chevy Chase, MD, 7931 Connecticut Avenue.

Wednesday, Oct. 22 - Noon - 5 p.m.
--2:30-3:20 p.m. "Harmony in Your Home Designed to the Eyes of Feng Shui" (Tickets:  $10)
--6-9 p.m.  "Opening Party" featuring a tour of the design show, Asian food, live musical entertainment, and a silent auction  (Tickets:  $85)

Thursday, Oct. 23 - 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
--10:30-11:30 a.m. "The Art of Ikebana": A seminar and demonstration of the Japanese art of traditional flower arrangement. (Tickets:  $10)
--2:30-3:30 p.m. "Lumpia" - Philippine Spring Roll: A seminar and demonstration of preparing this
signature dish.  Samples will be served.

Friday, Oct. 24 - 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
--10:30-11:30 a.m. "How to Prepare an Exotic Table Setting": A seminar presented by interior designer Michael Roberson. (FREE, Limited Seating)
--2:30-3:30 p.m. "Choosing the Right Window Treatment for Your Home": A seminar presented by Susan Pilchard  (FREE, Limited Seating)

Saturday, Oct. 25 - 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
--10:30-11:30 a.m. "Becoming Your Own Atmosphere Architect": Learn how to use the power of scent, the sound of music, lighting, textures, and food to create an enveloping space in your home. Presented by Tracy Morris of Tracy Morris Design, LLC. (FREE, Limited Seating)
