Playwright Bios

  • Amanda NewmanAmanda Newman is a senior, a double major in English and in communication science and speech disorders at the University of Missouri
  • Adam PasenAdam Pasen Originally from Chicago, Adam just received his PhD from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. His plays, scenes, adaptations and musicals have been produced across the United States, and include Board Fold, Tea with Edie and Fitz, Study Group and Butterfinger.
  • Lupe  FloresLupe Flores is an MA candidate in playwriting at Texas State University-San Marcos. His ten-minute play The Coyote Stratagem, featured at last year's National Festival. He is a native of San Antonio native who did his undergraduate work in theatre at University of the Incarnate Word.
  • J.C. PankratzJ.C. Pankratz is a senior at DePauw University as an English and Women's Studies major. From central Indiana, her play, Gerda's Story: Memoir of a Holocaust Survivor, co-adapted with Tim Good, was recently produced at DePauw.
