What is the Performing Arts Series?
The Performing Arts Series is an arts-based distance learning program that utilizes live, interactive capabilities of satellite broadcasting, educational cable and public broadcasting, and the Web to share the artistic resources of the Kennedy Center with a national audience of students and educators.
How do I access the Performing Arts Series?
The Performing Arts Series is FREE to your school but online registration is required at kennedy-center.org/pwtv.
By registering you will receive:
- Study guides for each program featuring instructional activities and resources delivered via e-mail
- Online access to the live broadcasts and archived programs from previous seasons
- E-mail reminders for upcoming broadcasts with satellite information and technical support
- The opportunity to interact with the artists by sending in questions via e-mail, fax or phone
How do I watch the Performing Arts Series?
The Performing Arts Series is broadcast live via:

How do my students participate during the live broadcasts?
The Performing Arts Series is interactive and allows students to ask questions of the artists in real time. Students can participate by:
