About
The sensational Houston Ballet, one of the world’s most respected ballet companies, shares one week of programs with the dynamic Paul Taylor Dance Company—with performances that each feature Taylor’s stunning choreography. Along with the premiere of a new Taylor work, Houston Ballet will perform his “boogie woogie ballet,” the exuberant Company B—a celebration of World War II pop music that became an “instant masterpiece” (Anna Kisselgoff, The New York Times) upon its Kennedy Center-commissioned world premiere in 1991. Additionally, the Paul Taylor Dance Company will perform a collection of favorites from its extensive repertoire.
The following performances will be by recorded music: April 9 and 11 at 8 p.m.
